Net 30 due date calculator
Enter the invoice date and choose the payment terms. The calculator counts forward in calendar days and shows the due date, the day of the week and a warning if the date falls on a Saturday or Sunday. It covers net 7 to net 90, EOM and net 30 EOM.
How net terms are counted
Net 30 means the full amount is due 30 calendar days after the invoice date. Weekends and public holidays count, and day one is the day after the invoice date. For an invoice dated Monday, October 5, 2026:
| Terms | Due date |
|---|---|
| Net 10 | Thursday, October 15, 2026 |
| Net 30 | Wednesday, November 4, 2026 |
| Net 90 | Sunday, January 3, 2027 |
Print the actual due date on the invoice, not just "Net 30", so nobody has to count.
EOM and net 30 EOM
- EOM (end of month): due on the last day of the month the invoice is dated. The October 5 invoice is due Saturday, October 31, 2026.
- Net 30 EOM: due 30 days after the end of the invoice month. The same invoice is due Monday, November 30, 2026.
EOM terms suit customers who pay suppliers in one monthly run, but an invoice dated early in the month waits longer, so send it as soon as the work is done.
Early payment discounts: 2/10 net 30
"2/10 net 30" offers a 2% discount if the client pays within 10 days; otherwise the full amount is due in 30. On a $5,000 invoice dated October 5, 2026, the client can pay $4,900 by October 15 or $5,000 by November 4. The calculator's due date is the net date; the discount date is the invoice date plus 10 days.
For help choosing terms, read payment terms explained. If a due date passes, the late fee calculator works out what your terms let you add.
Frequently asked questions
Does net 30 include weekends and holidays?
Yes. Net terms count calendar days, not business days, so weekends and public holidays are included. If you want business days, write that into your terms, for example payment due within 20 business days, and put the resulting date on the invoice.
Is net 30 counted from the invoice date or the delivery date?
Normally from the invoice date printed on the invoice, unless your contract says otherwise. In the UK, if no payment date has been agreed, a business payment is late 30 days after the customer receives the invoice or the goods or services, whichever is later.
What if the due date falls on a weekend?
The date stays the same unless your terms move it to the next business day. To avoid a dispute, adjust the date on the invoice or add a next-business-day rule to your terms.
